Dandy Don's HomeMade Ice Cream is looking for a Production Assistant, with growth potential, to assist the Production Manager with various duties in the Ice Cream Manufacturing Plant. Duties include making and packaging ice cream, scooping, cleaning, prepping and serving sundae bar catering events, some deliveries and sales, but mainly working in the production department. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and operate various manufacturing plant equipment including motor vehicles. Previous kitchen experience required, clean DMV record, own car (van or pick-up truck a plus), bilingual (Spanish) desired. This is a full time position, M-F, with some weekend work. Starting pay is $11.00 + per hour, depending on experience, plus 50¢ mileage allowance. Benefit plan available after three months. EOE.
