Restaurants: It’s time to order heart-shaped truffles for Valentine’s Day from Dandy Don’s Ice Cream.  We have white-chocolate and dark-chocolate covered ice cream hearts with sorbet centers.

This dessert brings new meaning to the phrase Ice Cream Sandwich.  Our client Lady Chocolatt on Wilshire Blvd. in L.A. puts scoops of ice cream inside a croissant upon request.  Now that’s a new kind of ice cream sandwich.  What will the Belgians think of next?

The Sunset Restaurant on Zuma Beach in Malibu makes its own Mississippi Mud Pie ($8) using Dandy Don’s Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream.  They use our Butter Pecan ice cream, Banana ice cream, and Vanilla Bean ice cream in their Banana Split ($8).  And they use Dandy Don’s Chocolate ice cream in their Chocolate Fondant ($8) which also involves nutella powder and cocoa-dusted hazelnuts.

Did you know that Kitchen 24 in Hollywood uses Dandy Don’s Ice Cream to make dessert cocktails?  Available at breakfast, lunch, and dinnertime until 2 a.m., these ice cream drinks pack a punch.  There’s the Root Beer Martini ($12) made with root beer vodka and our Vanilla ice cream; the Soda Jerk ($11) made with amaretto, dark creme de cacao and our Vanilla ice cream; and the Adult Swim ($12) made with Bailey’s Mint Chocolate, Absolut Vanilla and Dandy Don’s Vanilla ice cream.

Kitchen 24 in Hollywood serves Dandy Don’s Ice Cream in a Waffle Ice Cream Sundae with candied walnuts and Hershey’s chocolate sauce.  They also use Dandy Don’s Vanilla Bean ice cream on top of their skillet cookie (chocolate chip) covered in chocolate and caramel sauces.  Shakes are made with Dandy Don’s Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry ice creams.
