Dandy Don’s HomeMade Ice Cream served sundaes to 700 troops at a pre-deployment picnic at Port Hueneme Navel Station in Ventura on Friday, December 18th. The event was sponsored by K-Earth 101.1 – morning show host Gary Bryan jumped in to help the Dandy Don’s serving team: Alison Hawkins-Keogh, Peter Ianotti and of course Dandy Don himself.

Daily Candy Kids sent out this cute email which mentioned Dandy Don’s Ice Cream Social in a Box.  For a birthday party that’s better than everyone else’s, they recommend four actions to take.

We like option #2:

The Oxnard farm known as Harry’s Berries produces some of the sweetest, nicest strawberries in the whole country.  Dandy Don’s Ice Cream has teamed up with Harry’s Berries to produce a strawberry ice cream that’s out of this world.  You can order it by the tub from our Wholesale Department (just ask for Doris at 818 994 0111) or have it as part of an Ice Cream Social.  If you want to taste it on a fully catered Ice Cream Sundae Bar, just talk to Amanda.  If you want to try in the Ice Cream Social in a Box, just email us at doris@dandydons.com before you purchase it online.
