Dandy Don’s HomeMade Ice Cream, served in fine restaurants all over Los Angeles, can now be purchased by the pint at selected locations.

Owner Don Whittemore explains, “People have been asking for years, ‘Where can I buy your ice cream to take home?’”

The ice cream, normally sold wholesale to chefs and restaurant owners, has been dressed up in pint-sized containers with bar codes and nutritional information for the public.

Some flavors like Vanilla Bean, Strawberries & Brown Sugar, Green Tea, and Mandarin Orange Chocolate are available year round. Seasonal ice creams like Pumpkin, Egg Nog, and Peppermint Stick are sold as holiday flavors November through January.
